Hi, my name is Amanda Heath, and I’m running for the Maine Senate.

From my years working as a Navy mechanic, on active duty and now in the reserves, to owning a small business and raising my two sons here in Central Maine, my life has been about showing up, working hard, and solving problems. Right now, too many families see that our political system is broken and failing them. I’m running to be a steady, common-sense voice who will deliver real results for our communities.

That means strong public schools, safe and reliable roads, and making Maine more affordable for everyone. In the Senate, I will work to support working people, especially the state employees who keep Maine running, our retirees, and families, while bringing down costs for housing, heating, and everyday essentials.

I’m proud to call Augusta home, and I’m ready to bring my experience as a veteran, small business owner, and parent to serve the people of our communities. Please like and share this post to help grow this page and join me on this journey to make Maine a place where families, workers, and retirees can thrive.

An Augusta resident and mother of two, Heath attended area schools, including Maranacook Community High School. She joined the U.S. Navy in 1996, serving on active duty until 2004 as a helicopter mechanic. A former Job Corps student, she later trained at the Aveda Institute and currently operates her own small business while continuing her service in the Navy Reserve.
