An Augusta resident and mother of two, Heath attended area schools, including Maranacook Community High School. She joined the U.S. Navy in 1996, serving on active duty until 2004 as a helicopter mechanic. A former Job Corps student, she later trained at the Aveda Institute and currently operates her own small business while continuing her service in the Navy Reserve.
